The outrage surrounding the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA has amplified an already tumultuous political and social climate in the U.S. This academic year, faculty likely will be navigating the fallout and implications in their classrooms and throughout campus. Facilitated by Dr. Amer F. Ahmed (TEFD, Director of Intercultural Teaching and Faculty Development) and Dr. Kirsten Helmer (TEFD, Senior Instructional Consultant and Lecturer), this Brown Bag Lunch will offer you an opportunity to connect with colleagues and talk about strategies that will help you navigate the challenges you might be facing this year. In addition, we will encourage attendees to share resources with one another to navigate personal and professional matters related to these issues as well.
